Making Smoothies

Last week we researched on the internet how to make a smoothie. We had to invent our own recipes. We had to include a banana to thicken our smoothie. Some recipes had marshmallows, chocolate Nesquik, canned strawberries and milk. Yummy!

Term 2 Holiday recounts

I was at my home. I was watching the computer. Then my big sister came. She was downloading a game for us called Mugen. When it was loading, she was watching Facebook. By Anshveer

In the exciting holidays, I went to the big shop called Number One Shoes because on Monday school was going to start. So me and my Mum and Dad, found some shoes that were super big and super small. What we did at the weekend...

In the weekend, I played funny and exciting games. I did fancy pictures because I wanted to. My little cat wanted some food.  I drew a cat. I drew fancy whiskers on the fat ginger cat. Then I watched The Incredibles. It was cool. By Victoriana


On Sunday my Dad bought me a bike. I was excited. I wanted to know what was in the box. I opened the box but it didn't open. So my sister Disha went to get a knife. She opened the lid and a big bike came was in the box. The colour of the bike is purple and white. I tried to ride it but I thought that I was going to fall. I practised riding on it. On Sunday I saw Mrs Hishey walking around my house. Then Mr Hishey let me take a photo and Mrs Hishey had tea at my house. Mrs Hishey has two white dogs. One of the dogs is a girl and one is a boy. By Barleen


I was at my house because it was my sister's birthday. She was 22 years old, now she is 23. We ate the chocolate birthday cake. We ate vegetarian pizza too. I was playing on my Dad's phone. My cousin was there and my little cousin was there too, but my other cousin was not there. By Anshveer

Today we tried a Papaya or Pawpaw

Today we tried a papaya. We are learning about how our food gets from the field to the table. Papaya was first grown in Mexico. It grows on a tall tree, a bit like a coconut tree. We used all our senses to get a whole experience of this unusual fruit. Most of us liked how it tasted, even though it smelt like sick.

What we did at the weekend

Today it is my birthday. I am excited. I am going to have zebra cake at my house. All my friends came to my house at the weekend. We had a lot of fun. We played Pint the Tail on the Donkey and musical chairs. I won. We ate cake. By Diya
